Measured Building Survey's
We offer a full measured survey service that comprises of floor plans, internal & external elevations, sections and roof plans. All can be supplied as a standalone service or as a complete measured building service.
Site Survey's
Whatever the project you are considering, accuracy in planning is of the utmost importance. A thourough topographical survey will lessen the possibility of costly mistakes at a later stage.
Planning & Design
Following the survey, we can produce a scheme design which satisfies the design brief and is considerate of the project budget, whilst being mindful of relevant planing policy guidlines & building regulations.
Detailed Design Drawings
A package of working drawings bespoke to the proposal can be used to demonstrate building regulation compliance, obtain quotations and ultimately to constuct the works.
Planning & Building Regulations
We submit drawings to building regulations and a suitable planning application for the project. We have a proven track record of successfully obtaining planning approvals.

Our core buisiness lies within the architectural sector of building surveying. Typically we are involved with a wide range of products, from modest domestic extensions through to large new-build developments, with all work completed using the latest AutoCAD software. We survey individual houses, flats and apartment buildings, public houses, restaurants, supermarkets, high street shops, warehouses and offices. No building is too complex or too large for our surveyors to handle.
Individual client requirements of their measured building survey differ depending on their individual needs. We can produce fully detailed plans, sections & elevations or simply show the structure only. FCL has a proven track record of producing well designed and technically sound scheme drawings and construction drawings. Our aim is to add value to your project in providing a total design service on a competitive basis with a professional approach to cater for the individual requirements of each client.

Our measured building surveys show a high level of detail and accuracy. Everything from skirting to coving and ceiling lights can be captured and measured to provide an accurate 2D image of a building. The positions of pillars, windows and doorways, handrails and steps are all accurately recorded.
LOCAL AUTHORITY APPROVALS
Planning & Building Regulations
We will design, draw and submit a suitable planning application for the project and will liaise with the Council as necessary. The completed package of working drawings and supporting information is submitted to the Local Authority for Building Regulations Approval.

Detailed Design
FCL will prepare a package of working drawings. These detail the 'nuts and bolts' of the construction, and are used to, obtain quotations and ultimately to construct the works. This is a key stage of the process, as an accurate and comprehensive set of working drawings can pay massive dividends at construction stage.
